Key Performance Upgrades
Substantial 40% Volume Boost
The standout internal upgrade is the completely re-engineered 45mm full-range driver transducer. Pushed by a robust 7W RMS amplifier, the Clip 5 yields up to a 40% increase in raw acoustic volume compared to older generations. This hardware upgrade ensures that vocals stay perfectly crisp and backing music punches straight through loud background environments like rushing river water, wind, or urban street traffic.
Redesigned Ultra-Wide Carabiner Clip
The iconic built-in carabiner has received a significant physical layout update. The physical frame features a notably wider jaw opening and a smoother spring mechanism. This design refinement makes it effortless to clip the speaker onto thick backpack straps, heavy metal bicycle handlebars, canopy tent poles, or belt loops without requiring a separate attachment hook.
Complete IP67 Dust and Waterproofing
Built to thrive in unpredictable outdoor environments, the Clip 5 carries a rigorous IP67 certified rating. The chassis is completely impervious to fine sand, dust particles, and trail dirt. It can also handle full submersion in up to 3 feet of water for 30 minutes, allowing you to easily wash away mud, pool splashes, or sudden downpours directly under the tap.
