Key Performance Upgrades
Upgraded 3-Tweeter Acoustic Engineering
While previous generations relied on a dual-tweeter system, the Onyx Studio 9 introduces an advanced 3-way multi-channel layout featuring three 20mm tweeters paired with a massive 120mm woofer. This hardware upgrade prevents directional “sweet spots,” casting a wide, balanced acoustic arc across any room.
Constant Sound Field Technology
With integrated Constant Sound Field software, the speaker dynamically widens the soundstage. This technology isolates vocal mid-ranges with laser precision while ensuring that deep, low-frequency bass notes do not muddy the higher frequencies.
Smart Self-Tuning Room Calibration
Every time you move the speaker or power it on, its built-in microphones activate automatic environmental self-tuning. The device reads the unique acoustic reflections of your walls and furniture, instantly calibrating its equalizer settings to match the room layout.
Connectivity and Companion App Experience
The Onyx Studio 9 upgrades its core wireless ecosystem to provide more control and long-range stability.
- Bluetooth 5.3 Multipoint: Stream audio smoothly while keeping two separate smartphones or tablets paired simultaneously, making it effortless to trade DJ duties.
- Harman Kardon ONE App: For the first time, manage your device via a comprehensive companion mobile app. Customize hardware EQ sliders, toggle custom audio profiles, and manage active system updates directly from your phone.
- Universal Auracast™ Pairing: Wirelessly daisy-chain multiple Auracast-compatible speakers together. You can create a massive, synchronized audio array across your entire home or link two units for true left-and-right stereo separation.
