Maintenance and Replacement Guide
When to Replace
Your printer will display a notification on the LCD screen or your computer when an ink pack is low or expended. It is recommended to have a replacement pack ready to install immediately after removing the old one.Â
Replacement Steps
- Preparation: Before opening the new package, gently shake the cartridge four or five times to ensure even ink distribution.
- Removal: Open the printer’s designated ink section. Squeeze the tab on the used cartridge and lift it straight up to remove it.
- Installation: Remove any protective yellow tape from the new cartridge. Insert it into the holder and push down until it securely clicks into place.
- Charging: Close the printer. The system will take approximately 1.5 minutes to charge the ink. Do not turn off the product while the power light is flashing during this process.
