Key Performance Upgrades
Innovative Dual-Fit Mechanical Architecture
The standout physical asset of the Tune Flex is its revolutionary dual-wear capability. Out of the box, you can wear them bare in an Open-Ear configuration for a zero-pressure, natural ambient listening seal. Alternatively, you can snap on any of the three bundled sizes of silicone Sealing Ear Tips to create a deep, sound-isolated physical barrier inside your ear canal.
Specialized App Ear-Tip Tuning Modes
To support this physical flexibility, the JBL Headphones App features an intelligent Ear Tip Sound Settings processor. Every time you swap between the Open and Sealing structures, toggling the respective mode inside the software adjusts the master digital equalization profile. This ensures the output balances perfectly, delivering punchy low-end notes regardless of your fit choice.
Heavy-Hitting 12mm Drivers with Pure Bass
Don’t let the compact stick design fool you. Housing oversized 12mm dynamic drivers, the hardware pumps out the iconic, high-energy JBL Pure Bass Sound profile. The frequency curve is precisely engineered to push forward deep, vibrating sub-bass kicks without crushing the clarity of speech, vocal tracks, or high-pitched instrumentation.
Active Noise Cancelling with Smart Ambient
Take digital control over your daily workspace or travel route. The Active Noise Cancelling engine samples background hums to digitally reduce ambient distractions like fan droning or distant transit rumble. If you need to step back into your environment, you can cycle touch commands into Ambient Aware to safely blend street traffic sound back into your mix, or TalkThru mode to drop music volume and boost voices for instant conversations.
